all-round experience

ChemTec-Knowhow was founded early 2016 by myself, Wolf Mehl, after having worked for more than 26 years in various senior positions as a chemist in the Chemical Park Leverkusen, Germany: Competent, efficient, solution-oriented, team based, pragmatic, flexible.

Meanwhile, ChemTec-Knowhow works internationally. The current focus is India. Here, I accompany and assist Indian companies in Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) for demanding European customers.

I have many years of professional experience as a process development chemist in pilot plants and as a manager in different production plants of international companies in the field of fine chemicals (Bayer AG, Lanxess Germany GmbH, Saltigo GmbH).

There I successfully designed as responsible chemist together with the respective project teams all stages of process development from the first lab test to scale-up with several thousand tons of annual output. I have also optimized established processes in order to reduce costs or to increase output.

By combining professional practice and my chemical engineering studies I know all aspects of the interface chemistry - technology.

My successful cooperation for many years with people from different functions, hierarchies, cultures and organizations is based on appreciative, open and yet confidential communication and       goal-oriented way of working.

All this is a solid basis for the successful realization and sustainable implementation of my consulting projects.
