I have many years of professional experience and expertise as a process development chemist in pilot plants and as a manager in different production plants of international companies in the field of fine chemicals (Bayer AG, Lanxess Germany GmbH, Saltigo GmbH).

So I was e. g. manager of

•      an industrial Friedel-Crafts plant

•      a production plant for Highly Active Herbizeds

•      different plants for fine chemicals (photographic chemicals,                 flavorings, pharmaceutical and crop protection intermediates)

•      a large-scale Chlorination plant for radical and catalytic                       chlorination

•      a large-scale plant for the production and processing of                         phosphorus halides

•      industrial plants for catalytic hydrogenation with hydrogen

•      large-scale plants for diazotization (aqueous + organic medium)

•      medium-scale plants for nitration (aqueous + organic medium)

•      medium-scale plant for phosgenation

There I successfully designed as responsible chemist together with the respective project teams all stages of process development from the first lab test to scale-up with several thousand tons of annual output or optimized established processes.
